Two Giveaways in One Week!! Day 2: Nuun!

Thank y'all so much for being so supportive of my second half marathon and for entering my giveaways this week! I am loving all the comments and hearing what everyone's goals are for 2012. And can I say I am amazed with what everyone has accomplished in 2011! You are so inspiring!

Nuun is just plain awesome! Nuun is electrolyte enhanced drink tabs that dissolve in water. They fizz like Alka Seltzer and leaves your water with a light, refreshing flavor. It has only 8 calories and contains no sugar! (FYI-it does have artificial sweetener). It isn't too sweet and has just the right amount of subtle taste and slight fizz. I love the strawberry lemonade and the lemon-lime! I want to try all the flavors!
Hydration is so important before/during/after workouts! I am hugely guilty of not drinking enough fluid, especially after long runs. This usually results in headaches for me, but as long as I drink a huge glass (or 5) of fluid with electrolytes in them (usually Nuun or Powerade Zero) I can avoid headache central.

    *Who inspired me? Not sure anyone did but doing yoga at one point in my life changed my life. Little out of practice of yoga now but walk my way to health.

  2. 1. I drink water during training and gatorade when I can get it during races.
    2. My dad inspired me to start running. I wanted to spend more time with me.

    2. Actually I used to work with a bunch of attorneys that ran all the time and that was sort of my inspiration.
    3. Yes I listen to music, right now I am obsessed with Gavin Degraw's new cd, it's not super upbeat but he has such an amazing voice, it so doesn't matter!

    2. I dont really have 1 person that inspired me, I have always been active- played school sports from 7-12th grade and intramurals in college... I have my ups and downs tho when I get out of the swing of things and have to force myself to get back to the gym
    3. Yess, I can't workout when its silent- I listen to all types of music when I work out but I think that Chris Brown- I Can Transform Ya is a great one to run too!
