From downtown, we traveled to the ceremony and reception site, the
Pavilion at Patriot’s Point. Since we had separate limos, the girls went
inside the clubhouse at the golf club to wait for the ceremony to
begin, while the guys waited in the reception area. Thankfully we only
had about 25 minutes before the ceremony! I was too excited to wait any
longer!
Pink and champagne ribbons on all the chairs, large flowers for the reserved rows, flower petals lining the aisle…
Signs
leading the way to the aisle that had vows on them, such as “To have
and to hold”, “In sickness and in health”, with the last sign before the
aisle saying “Here comes the bride”.
My dad made 3 foot A&Z signs for us that we had in the ceremony and reception areas!
Before we knew it, it was time to walk down the aisle!
Here go the guys!
Here go the guys!
I love how you can see Fort Sumter, the decor of the ceremony, Caitlin, and the groomsmen in this photo.
I
loved our vows. We started with the traditional vows the pastor
provided us and changed it around to make it more “us”. We both felt it
had a lot about our personalities and also our relationship in the vows
and the guests both laughed and thought they were sweet at the same
time.
After the ceremony, we made it official and signed our marriage license! Zach’s face in this picture is HILARIOUS!
Time to celebrate!!
